We had a fantastic stay at the cottage in Staithes. The value for money was excellent and the room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The location was absolutely perfect, just a stone's throw away from the beach and harbor. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast could have been improved with a better selection of bread knives.

Being able to open the front door and have the beach and harbour right there was such a treat. the house itself was clean, spacious, and well equipped, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

There were a few negative aspects to our experience. when we arrived, the house hadn't been cleaned and the beds weren't made.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The furniture had a vintage touch that reminded me of my younger days, and the common areas were beautifully decorated with artwork and knick-knacks. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was. There were handrails in the staircases and the furniture was at a comfortable height. It made moving around much easier for me.

I would have liked to see more options for activities suitable for senior guests. Perhaps some organized walks or gentle exercise classes would have been lovely.
